MADE IN USA! This belt is handmade from 100% full-grain, 7-8 ounce vegetable tanned cowhide. It has undergone a multi-step process from start, to the finished product. This belt features a small embossed cross in the center of the keeper (belt loop). Size is 37". Buckle is 1-1/2" wide, and solid brass.
Our belts are measured from the end of the leather near the buckle, to the center hole (this belt has 5 holes, so the measurement is to the 3rd hole). Please see last picture for reference diagram. The overall length from edge of buckle to the opposite end is 43". The width of the belt is 1-1/2".
This belt is made from vegetable tanned leather, which is 100% cow leather. "Vegetable tanned" refers to the tannage of the leather. Natural tannins (instead of chemicals) are used in the tanning process, such as tree bark and other organic matter.
Texture differences in the grain pattern of leather are sometimes perceived as imperfections. But these are what gives leather goods their unique
